Beaver Dam
One mile east of Beaver Dam in the southwest portion of the county, Beaver Dam Lake covers 150 acres with a sand bottom, maximum depth of 75 feet and average depth of 20 feet. Principal game fish are large-mouth bass, small-mouth bass, pike, walleyes, bluegills, crappies and sun fish. One of a chain of lakes running from Silver Lake to Palestine, Beaver Dam Lake is spring fed and noted for good-tasting fish.
